After a successful business career as a mortgage banker I decided to become a high school teacher. While taking classes to complete my degree I was asked to become a full-time teacher at Justin Siena High School, a private Catholic college preparatory school in the Napa Valley of California. I was one class short of my BA but had completed all the classes for a California teaching credential. My experience in business and education has given me an excellent background in understanding what are essential elements for success in the world. At Justin Siena 98% of our students attended college. We usually had 20 or more foreign exchange students from all over the globe, with varying English skills. The experience I gained from working with these students is invaluable. I am now ready to begin a third career and look forward to the opportunity to enjoy other cultures while conveying the necessary skills that will enable others to flourish in the global economy.

Special Achievements:
Recruited by the City of Vacaville to begin a non-profit housing corporation to facilitate city plans to revitalize neighborhoods. While I was vice-president we purchased, financed, and rehabilitated over two hundred units and reshaped the culture of a neighborhood.
My golf programs have been very successful. We won the Northern California CIF Title three times in the last fifteen years and eight of the players (girls and boys) earned scholarships to major universities.
